Maker Spotlight and support Dementia UK
Date: 06 May 2021
On Tuesday, we broadcasted live on Instagram with Find a Maker member and highly acclaimed potter, Justine Allison.
Her work is very much concerned with the simplicity and beauty of the clay, incorporating pattern, texture and glaze to create subtle, unique variations. Justine specialises in handbuilding porcelain, with thinness and movement being very important in each piece.
On Tuesday, we talked about how her work has developed, current exhibitions and how walking has transformed her life. Scroll down to listen to our conversation. Justine has also chosen her 5 Favourites from the Find a Maker Family.
