Throughout this week via Instagram, Facebook and our website, we are celebrating our members from Find a Maker
With over 300 Find a Maker members to choose from, deciding who to feature in our news is always a challenge.
Find a Maker Week is a great opportunity to hand over the reigns to our members who can lead the conversation and tell us more about themselves and about the makers they admire.
Each day this week, over on Instagram and Facebook, we'll be sharing our members Five Favourites, live interviews, demonstrations, podcasts and films about our Find a Maker members.
FIVE FAVOURITES FROM FIND A MAKER
Today, we are sharing the 5 Favourites of new Family Member, Anna Vojtisek. (See Anna's work above). Anne is a printmaker and paper lampshade maker from Devon.
Clover Robin
Clover's colleges look such fun to create. She always captures such fine detail and character. I would love to have a workshop with her. My scissors and papers are at the ready!
The Black Fish Press
Wonderful block printed fabrics made into cushions and quilts. I would certainly have these in my home! Lovely textures and colours in modern geometric patterns.
I'd happily drink tea and coffee from any of Ali's collections. Her ceramics are full of character in beautiful natural colours. They look so nice to hold.
Jayne Against The Grain
Every object will last generations and are intended to be treasured. Amazing sculptural and functional objects. Exquisite and elegant forms embracing the beauty of wood.
Kate Box Knit
I rather fancy some of Kate Box's wrist warmers this winter. She uses beautiful colour combinations and her whole collection looks extremely cosy.
