I'm a designer-maker, based in Nottingham, working mostly with recycled and vintage textiles. I use appliqué (collage with fabrics) to create images, which I then make into cushions (or bags, pictures, hot water bottle covers..). All designs are my own and usually animal-based. My favourites are native UK wildlife like hares, foxes, otters, badgers and deer.

I rarely work with plain fabric - it's all about pattern for me, and I love the way that the different colours, patterns and textures in my fabric choices can be combined to create something completely new...

Somewhere along the way I also came up with the idea of upcycling vintage and second-hand eggcups into tiny pin cushions. These are made by creating small ball-shaped cushions to fit perfectly inside the eggcups, and allow me to indulge my passion for mixing and matching colours and patterns, albeit on a much smaller scale
