I enamel animals and imps and things in between. My creatures are intended as familiars and companions in the portable form of jewellery. I use glass enamel and wire with enamel pigments to create these beings which usually undergo between 6 and 20 firings, I then set them alongside semi precious stones in silver and gold to create rings and pendants. My aim is for my enamels to achieve a balance between creativity, technical skill and character.
I work from my studio in South Devon and sell my work through galleries and at craft fairs across the UK.
