I have been making , exhibiting and selling work since the early 1980’s, predominantly sculptural metal pieces and small semi- functional vessels.
In 2000 I started a design and manufacture practice that concentrated mainly on bespoke furniture and lighting as well as some site specific public art projects. Throughout my career I have always had to balance my work as a maker but also as a lecturer at various colleges and universities.
Recently though, I have returned full time so to speak to my small patinated metal vessels (pyxis) and treasure houses, and it is these that I feel most excited about and that I want to develop and promote a lot more fully.
