From our workshop & studio in Morwenstow on the North Cornwall Coast, we make functional woodenware & furniture.
It is important to us that all wood used has only travelled a handful of miles to us. For our woodenware, we use only local and sustainably-sourced wood from trees that have had to be removed or have fallen naturally, or driftwood from our local beaches. Our furniture is made from as close to 100% salvaged materials as possible.
All work is handmade by us in our studio & our designs are led by the unique features of each piece of wood we work with. Wood for our woodenware is usually turned ‘green’ & then allowed to dry naturally. We love the irregular shapes which often emerge during this process and do not feel the need to correct this natural movement. Each piece is numbered and is a one-off.
