Sunnyview & Co. is the alias of Matt BF. An international touring sound system engineer turned signwriter and glass gilder. Making a total career swap during 2020, Matt now creates hand painted, genuine gold leaf artwork via the traditional craft of glass gilding and embossing.

Working entirely in reverse, Matt’s designs are painted onto the rear of the glass producing the effect of super sleek finish with vast depth of field. His work incorporates the use of precious metals, abalone inlay and enamels. He produces a line of original artwork alongside bespoke commissions. Matt’s inspiration lies in the skills and works of turn of the century craftsmen and women, an aesthetic which is evident throughout his pieces.
