Made by Clare Collinson in a tiny workshop in Colwinston, Vale of Glamorgan, Story and Star jewellery is inspired by folklore, fairy tales, folk customs, magic and all things celestial.
These inspirations appear throughout my collections, from words and phrases in my Fable range to stars, clouds, the moon and sun, in my more recent Celestial collection.
I prefer to work on a smaller, almost miniature scale, creating tiny charm like pieces of jewellery. I work predominantly in Silver and Brass to create settings using traditional techniques. These settings then become home to images and words which are captured in the setting using resin.
