My name is Sharla, and I have been a jeweller for over 15 years. I studied part time for 7 years and taught silver and gold smithing in Hatton Garden and East London for around 10yrs.

I recently moved to Hastings to be closer to the coast and now have a lovely studio in the Old Town, where I have started teaching wax carving courses, alongside my jewellery brand, Sharlala Jewellery.

I still travel to London and the surrounding areas to participate in markets and fairs, because it’s so important for my customers to be able to meet me, and see the jewellery first hand.

I’m hoping to branch out this year and wholesale/SOR my jewellery more in boutiques, so I can focus more of my time on designing and making.

My work is very organic and is reminiscent of renaissance jewellery.
It’s comfortable and very well made.
I design, make and sell all of my work.

I am strictly 100% recycled silver & gold only, and ethically sourced gemstones.

Fun fact * I am a vegan and interestingly so, so is my workshop!
