I create contemporary handcrafted jewellery in silver embellished with 24 carat gold foil using the Korean technique Keum Boo. I enjoy developing surfaces with texture and relief and creating soft satin silver and oxidised finishes. My work includes organic and geometric forms inspired by memories of places and cultures I came to know and love whilst working overseas. I trained in precious metal jewellery in the UK in the 1990s before teaching Art for a number of years in Asia. I returned to making in 2018 whilst living in Malaysia and set up my small independent business in 2020, returning to the UK in 2021. I now live and work in gorgeous West Wales.
