Pippa is a contemporary artist and maker whose work celebrates the stories and memories carried by everyday objects. Through bespoke Memory Boxes, curated assemblages, and playful, bold artworks, she transforms found and treasured items into miniature worlds that are part artwork, part archive, and part museum. Her practice blends a love of collecting, craftsmanship, and narrative, creating pieces that invite viewers to explore history, imagination, and personal connection.

Since childhood, [Your Name] has been fascinated by hidden keepsakes, treasures unearthed from the backs of bureaus, tucked into cabinets or hidden in drawers. She vividly remembers her mother’s small Chinese cabinet filled with snippets of Victorian lace, bobbins, buttons, and tiny trinkets. As a child, she imagined where they had come from. Was the lace once part of a suffragette’s hem? Was the button from a soldier’s coat, kept by a sweetheart as a token of love?

This curiosity has never left her. Whether creating a bespoke Memory Box for a client using their own treasured objects, or assembling a new collection from carefully curated vintage finds, her work celebrates the history, craftsmanship, and quiet significance of everyday things. She is fascinated by the stories objects carry, how they move through time, gathering meaning long after their original purpose has passed.

Through bold, playful, and contemporary assemblages, she gives these forgotten items a new life. Each piece becomes a small, carefully composed world, part artwork, part archive, part miniature museum. By bringing together objects that once lived separate lives, she invites viewers to rediscover them, imagine their histories, and form new connections with the past.

Before opening her studio in 2019, she worked for fifteen years as a designer. She holds a first-class degree in Graphic Design and received several awards for her editorial design work. This background continues to influence her artistic practice through strong composition, typography, and narrative structure.

She also regularly runs Memory Box workshops, sharing her love of collecting and storytelling with small groups and workplaces, and takes commissions for sentimental Memory Boxes using clients’ own keepsakes, as well as larger bespoke artworks. Her work is collected internationally, and she recently completed a triptych for a private residence being designed by Flora Soames, a Homes & Gardens Top 100 interior designer.

Her work has been exhibited at Tutton & Young’s MADE London (2023–2025), Craft Festival Bovey Tracey (2024–2025), and Handmade Oxford, and has been featured in Country Living magazine and The London Magazine.
