Lucy Thompson is a Welsh jeweller designer-maker. Predominately working in recycled silver and gold, she specialises in creating unique, contemporary jewellery using traditional jewellery making techniques.

Lucy is influenced by her training in sculpture and the Welsh landscape. She uses repetition, geometric shapes and gritty textures to create subtle contrasts and patina and plating to add colour.

Her most recent collection explores her long held fascination with farm buildings; the multiple textures within, the repetition of man-formed components that construct them and their silhouette against the landscape.
