I’m a weaver, spinner and textile designer. My focus is on designing unique woven textiles - particularly tapestry woven framed art and rug making moving forward. I have just bought my first floor loom so new designs will be coming in 2024.
I’m based in BBox Studios in the cultural district of Newcastle. A thriving community with Open Studios twice yearly.
My background is as an artist before moving into textiles. I want to use my knowledge of colour, design and textures in my work.
The beauty of hand woven is that no one else will have the same product. A weaver puts so many hours of joy into each hand manipulated item. It feels like such a wonderful natural progression in my creative journey.
