I am a printmaker working primarily in monotype, collagraph and linocut. I have a BA degree in Fine Art Printmaking from Manchester Metropolitan University and have been teaching Art for 15 years in a secondary school setting. I have recently taken the leap to being a full time artist.
​I am based in South West England and my work focuses on the rugged and undulating landscape I live in. My ideas begin primarily in my sketchbook, through drawing, mark making and photography.
My printmaking describes the colours, textures and shapes I see in the landscape and often veer towards an abstraction of the place I saw initially. Each print is unique because it is printed by hand.
