I hand make silver and gold jewellery inspired by botanical, natural forms and unusual gemstones. I have been making precious jewellery and objects in metal for over 26 years. My work is well known for its graphic and stylised interpretations of plants. As a jeweller my intention is to make wearable pieces of nature. A love of gardening, horticultural tools, botanical illustrations, and most recently floriography; the language of flowers, provide me with endless inspiration for my botanical designs.
The signature materials I use include 18ct single mine origin gold, green gold, satin and oxidised silver. I carefully select natural gemstones including sapphires, rubies, tourmalines and rose cut diamonds. These are often bespoke hand cut from raw material, always having an organic feel to them, embracing natural inclusions and unique imperfections.
Alongside my practice I also run adult workshops and creative days in jewellery and metalwork. These are one day workshops with a bit of a creative difference aimed at complete beginners to those with more experience. Each workshop gives you the chance create something truly unique, with meaning and expert tuition from me. My workshop programme for 2026 will be launched on 6 December 2025 and can be booked through my website or email.
