I make porcelain and stoneware jewellery inspired by the landscape and coast around my home in Wales. Each piece is unique - I use hand painting and monoprinting techniques and work intuitively on the clay. I love combining printmaking with ceramics and I use my sketchbook drawings of the landscape as source material, particularly drawings of human marks on the land. I often use platinum and gold to add detail to the fired ceramic surface, and finish the jewellery with oxidised silver findings.
