My method is an exploration of materials that combine the landscape and alchemy of ceramics as a means to talk about our relationship with earth. A sequence of ideas captured in a vessel. Clay is wheel thrown and altered, to create tactile functional pieces, fired in an anagama wood fired kiln. From my studio on the Dorset coast I create limited batches and often one off pieces, utilising locally sourced wild & foraged & waste materials. Through this practice, I strive to be sustainable and mindful, bringing these ideas into your hands.
