Iain Sainsbury Bespoke Jewellery is a Cambridgeshire-based goldsmith making sculptural fine jewellery for collectors and commission clients who want real material provenance and structural character.
Drawing from Machine Age architecture and modern structural form, the work rejects uniformity of mass-produced commercial jewellery. Each piece is engineered at the bench using traditional sandcasting and precise goldsmithing, framing rich multi-stone arrangements with SMO gold.
At the heart of the practice is storytelling through metal. Through Sentimental Topography, clients embed personal geography - sand gathered from meaningful coastlines or landmarks - directly into the matrix of cast gold. Combined with bespoke heirloom remodelling and hand-selected ethical stones, the studio produces distinctive, heirloom-tier pieces built to endure for generations.
