Esther is an illustrator/bookmaker working in Cornwall. In 2009 she graduated from Falmouth University with a Masters degree in Authorial Illustration. Since then she has set up the 'Old School Press' where she designs and illustrates limited edition self publications.

She has always had a passion for storytelling and this is at the heart of all of her work. Themes are grown from small observations from her surroundings but take you far from the familiar on an unexpected journey.

Observation has been key in breathing life into her work. Enriching drawings with little details, facial expressions, posture and pattern has been essential in giving strength and emotion to her characters.

From her narratives she has created a range of prints, cards and lampshades.
