My work is wheel thrown in Porcelain and Stoneware, consisting of individually crafted pieces and some tableware. Decorated with my own glazes, which I apply in a variety of ways, sometimes free flowing and then in a more deliberate and graphic way. This glaze style allows me to explore the balance between the shape and surface. Recently I have been creating and exploring new glazes.
My pieces range from one off larger bowls, vases & bottle forms. Sake cups & Carafes, cups, mugs to various sized bowls, plates, platters. I also make wall pieces.
I take commissions and selected items are available through my website shop, Open Studios events, Ceramic art & craft fairs.
