Cubi designs and makes a range of small boxes using natural and vibrant coloured veneers and solid walnut hardwood. Our boxes feel tactile to hold, open and close perfectly and have sustainable, environmental credentials. Our range of contemporary marquetry designs are all aesthetically beautiful and reflect our love of nature and modernist design.
Welcome to Cubi. We are a small British company making contemporary boxes for rings or other small jewellery pieces. We have developed our boxes to be as environmentally conscious as we can through the selection of materials and the use of high-quality manufacturing methods. We use wood from renewable sources, our making waste is repurposed and our boxes are so well made, that with care, they will last a lifetime. Each box is expertly designed and made by Jonathan, who has many years of experience running his own business as a bespoke cabinet maker, making large built-in furniture or individual pieces for a range of clients.
Our company name Cubi was inspired by an ancient Cornish saint, reflecting our love of the South West of England. Our ethos is to make beautifully hand-crafted boxes with design integrity, influenced by the places we visit and the art and design around us at home.
