Bronwen Gwillim makes bold, one-off pieces of statement jewellery from waste plastic that she collects from the beach where she lives in Pembrokeshire. She uses colours, textures and forms inspired by the natural environment: she plays on the edges where nature/ industry, treasured/discarded meet. Bright colours live alongside rounded shapes and surfaces that are weathered and worn and she brings in recycled silver to further confuse notions of preciousness.
