Hello! My name is Andrew and I’m the founder and creator here at Bowland Leather.

Bowland Leather was created out a desire to continue my family history. My grandad Bob was a cobbler and leather goods retailer and after he retired my parents took over the business. I grew up in this environment and it is all I've ever known. Sadly after 70yrs of trading the shop was no longer viable, unable to compete against cheaper lower quality imported products and a huge shift in shopping habits.

As you can imagine leather is my life and I just couldn’t think of being in any other trade so Bowland Leather was born.

My mission is to create high quality durable items that will last and last, not wear out in a short period of time.

I create small leathergoods such as cardholders, belts, bags, keyrings etc
All my items are hand saddle stitched and finished, including bevelling, dieing and burnishing.
