I make banners of trees and plants, painted in a calligraphic style on handmade Japanese paper. Botanic subjects are a constant source of delight and wonder to me. I use conscious brushstrokes and natural materials to tap into meditative traditions. The resulting banners can be rolled and posted or stored. Unfurled they can be enjoyed on their own or in groups as installations of seasonal delight. Customers enjoy rotating banners in their homes to reflect the changing colours outside or their mood of the moment. I have exhibited at Craft Festival Bovey Tracey, MADE London and London Craft Week with Future Icons and Design Nation.
