Amanda Denison is known for distinctive contemporary art jewellery that incorporates recycled precious metals with enamel on steel which is often encouraged to rust. Her original fine art training influences her approach and mark making and experimentation are key elements.
On establishing her practice in 2016 Amanda Denison was accepted for the Craft Council Hothouse Programme and was invited to exhibit at New Designers One Year On. Since then she has regularly participated in high-end curated craft shows including, Craft Festival, MADE and Dazzle and is represented in galleries nationwide. Her work has been shown throughout the UK, in Europe and the USA and has been featured in many books on contemporary jewellery.
Amanda’s making is complemented by her teaching. She teaches master classes to students in the UK and internationally.
